In 1990 Barry Bonds won the first of his seven National League MVP Awards. His .301 average, 33 homers and 114 RBI combined with 52 stolen bases to make him the most dangerous hitter in the game. In the field, his work in left field earned him his first Golden Glove Award as the Pirates won their first post-season trip since 1979.
This offered Wilson glove was used by Bonds during that 1990 MVP/30HR/30SB season. The Wilson E10 fielder’s glove carries the ABN year code for 1990 inside the glove above the thumb loop. The glove shows light use with some scuffing on the finger tips and pocket as well as the face of the web. The fleece lining shows some light matting. The gold foil stamped logo and model numbers show some light flaking. The outside thumb has “BARRY BONDS” embroidered in yellow thread. A great gamer from the game’s reigning home run king. The glove comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA (1G00379) for the game use. Please see detailed analysis from PSA/DNA's LOA that accompanies this lot online.
