A top-10 vote getter for the 1994 Heisman Trophy, sophomore RB Lawrence Phillips gained over 1,700 yards—good for third-highest in Husker history. He rushed for another 96 yards in the Orange Bowl, as Nebraska fulfilled their "unfinished business" from the previous season. Phillips and company would win a second national championship the following year, and he would go on to be a first round draft choice in an NFL career with the Rams, Dolphins and 49ers. Manufactured by Jostens, Lawrence Phillips' 10K-gold, size 11-1/2 ring features CZ stones on its face and shank designs celebrating the Big 8 and NCAA championships.
