Presented here is a basketball signed by over 30 NBA All-Stars from the 2006 All-Star Game, held in Houston, Texas. The East won this game in an entertaining nail-biter, 122-120 over a stacked Western Conference team. Tracy McGrady, a star for the hometown Rockets, was the main attraction at this exhibition, scoring a game-high 36 points on a dizzying array of step-back and pull-up jumpers. LeBron James dropped 29 for the Eastern Conference team to win the All-Star Game MVP Award.
This souvenir Spalding basketball has red, white, and gray panels, with a 2006 All-Star Game logo on the panel below the “SPALDING” wordmark. Signatures on this ball include the Hall of Famers Shaquille O’Neal, Yao Ming, and Allen Iverson.
