Detroit Tigers ace Michael Fulmer made a big splash during his debut season, finishing with an 11-7 record, 3.06 ERA, and the 2016 American League Rookie of the Year award. Acquired from the New York Mets for outfielder Yoenis Cespedes, Fulmer adapted quickly to life in the American League, earning his first All-Star appearance during the 2017 season. Utilizing a fastball, a slider, and a devastating changeup, Fulmer has become one of the brightest pitching prospects in the Major Leagues.
Fulmer signed the top of this pitching rubber, which was used at Comerica Park during the 2016 MLB season, in blue marker. He added the inscriptions “’16 AL ROY” and “Game Used Pitching Rubber from the 2016 Season at Comerica Park” to his signature. This rubber, which is heavily dirt stained and shows tremendous signs of game use, comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 982477).
