Michael Fulmer, the 2016 AL Rookie of the Year and ace of the Detroit Tigers pitching staff, has signed this home plate. Fulmer’s first season came in 2016, when the big Oklahoman finished 11-7 with a sterling 3.06 ERA in 26 starts. Fulmer made his first All-Star team in 2017, although elbow trouble hampered his stellar performance for part of the second half of the season.
Fulmer signed this home plate, which was used during the 2016 MLB season at Comerica Park, in blue pen. He added the inscriptions “16 AL ROY” and “Game used Home Plate from the 2016 Season at Comerica Park” to his signature. This home plate, which is heavily dirt encrusted, shows good evidence of game use, and is accompanied by a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 982476).
