Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith wore this white practice jersey before the 2000 NFL Pro Bowl. Smith had an excellent season in 1999, rushing for 1,397 of his NFL-best 18,355 rushing yards. The Cowboys finished 8-8 that season, falling in the first round of the playoffs to the Minnesota Vikings. Smith left the Cowboys after the 2002 season, playing the final two years of his career for the Arizona Cardinals. An eight-time Pro Bowler and the MVP in 1993, Smith was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010.
This white jersey is a combination fishnet and mesh Champion pullover jersey. Smith’s number “22” is screen-printed in blue on the front and back of the jersey. “E. SMITH” is screen-printed in blue across the back shoulders, while blue NFC logos are screen-printed on each sleeve. A Champion size “XL” tag is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. Smith signed the back left shoulder in blue marker, adding the inscription “Pro Bowl 2000” to his signature. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the signature, and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
