As one of the top picks in the 2006 draft, Evan Longoria spent very little time in the minor leagues, and rewarding the Tampa Bay Rays with steady offense since his rookie season. This 33.5 inch, 30.8 ounce Louisville Slugger I13 signature model bat shows evidence of outstanding game use and is un-cracked. Slight checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact is visible on the barrel. There are multiple ball marks, stitch impressions are visible including blue ink transfers plus cleat marks, rack streaks and a weighted sleeve impression. Light MOTA stick residue appears on the handle with a moderate amount of pine tar near the label. Stamped on the knob is the date of manufacture (6/1/2010), length (33.5) and weight (31.5 oz). Longoria's number "3" is affixed to the knob with a Schutte sticker. In addition, the bat has been authenticated by MLB Authentication Service and their hologram (LH861852) is affixed to the knob indicating the bat was used on June 16, 2010 against the Atlanta Braves. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14603), who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10.
