From 2006 to 2009 there wasn’t a more feared hitter than Philadelphia Phillies’ first baseman Ryan Howard. In those four seasons, Howard 58, 47, 48 and 45 home runs respectively and was the 2006 National League MVP. During the 2007 season Howard’s 47 home runs were only bested by Prince Fielder’s 50 and he drove in 136 runs and led the Phillies to the National League Eastern Division title.
This Marucci RH6 model bat was used by Howard during the 2007 season. This bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are several ball marks, stitch impressions and cleat imprints present throughout the barrel. There is a light coating of pine tar on the upper handle and lower barrel. Howard’s number “6” is stamped on the knob, along with the date of manufacture “8.28.07”. This is a great gamer from one the National League’s premier sluggers and it comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14608) who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10.
