Topps chose to commemorate Mickey Mantle's remarkable achievement – winning two consecutive MVP Awards in the immediately preceding years – with this bright, attention-grabbing collectible. The offered card is an appealing example with light corner touches that appear to barely restrain the piece from being evaluated at the next, higher level. Mantle's image is faultless, and plenty of original gloss is refreshingly apparent. Excellent to Mint-plus condition.
