Presented here is a stunning Joe DiMaggio pennant dating to 1949. This pennant was originally owned by Vic Raschi, a teammate of DiMaggio’s from 1946 to 1951 and a four-time All-Star for the Yankees. It is a deep purple color, with a yellow strip on the wide end. A gorgeous image of DiMaggio in the middle of his swing is printed on the pennant, his nickname “The Yankee Clipper” printed in white text below it. “Joe DiMaggio” runs down the remainder of the pennant, also printed in white. This item is in sterling mint condition, with outstanding colors, a very sharp tip, and no holes or cracks. This pennant measures 28 x 11 ½ inches at its widest dimensions. This item is accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from a member of the Raschi family.
