Presented here is a collection of five baseballs signed by Hall of Fame members of the Boston Red Sox baseball club. The first ball, an Official American League Lee MacPhail ball, has been signed by Carl Yastrzemski. The 1967 Triple Crown winner signed his name in dark blue pen to the right of MacPhail’s stamped signature. This item comes with a COA from JSA (A27222).
The second baseball, a toned Official American League Bobby Brown orb, has been signed by Jim Rice. The 1978 American League MVP signed his name on the sweet spot of this ball in black marker. This item comes with a COA from JSA (S87301). Next is an Official Bobby Brown American League baseball signed on the sweet spot in black pen by Bob Doerr. This item comes with a COA from JSA (S87300).
The fourth ball is an Official American League Gene A. Budig sphere signed on the sweet spot in black pen by Wade Boggs. This item comes with a COA from JSA (C27553). The final ball, an Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball, has been signed on the sweet spot by Carlton Fisk. Fisk added the inscriptions “ROY 72” and “HOF 2000” to the sweet spot, while adding “11x All Star” on the south panel. The signatures and inscriptions on this ball have been written in blue pen.
