Presented is a 160-card complete set of 1955 Bowman football cards. The design in '55 Bowman football placed player images against a vaguely-defined white outline which, in turn, continued to a solid pastel hue to the borders. The set contains a plethora of stars; Landry, Gifford, Blanda, Layne and Tittle as well as the rookie cards of Summerall, Ringo, St. Clair and Ford. Highlights include: #'s 1 Walker (VG), 2 McCormack (EX), 7 Gifford (EX), 8 Ameche (EX/MT), 32 Van Brocklin (VG/EX), 42 Johnson (EX/MT), 52 Summerall (EX), 62 Blanda (EX/MT), 70 Ringo (VG/EX), 71 Layne (EX), 72 Tittle (VG), 101 St. Clair (EX), 119 Gatski (VG/EX), 152 Landry (VG/EX) and 160 Dupre (VG/EX). Grades 82% EX to EX/MT (few nicer), 18% VG to VG/EX.
