Presented is a 100-card complete set of 1955 Topps All-American football cards. This was to be Topps’ final offering featuring college players. Starting the next year on the heels of Bowman’s departure, Topps moved into the pro football arena. Despite the “college” status, these cards are permanent fixtures in any vintage football collection. Four cards have been graded by SGC. Highlights include: #'s 1 Hickman (EX), 6 Kinnick (EX/MT), 12 Graham (NM), 16 Rockne (EX), 20 Baugh (EX), 21 White SP (EX), 27 Grange (SGC 60 EX 5), 29 Nomellini SP (EX/MT), 35 Harmon SP (EX), 37 Thorpe (SGC 60 EX 5), 38 Stagg (VG/EX), 52 Lujack (EX/MT), 56 Nevers SP (SGC 60 EX 5), 59 Blanchard (EX), 68 Four Horsemen SP (SGC 50 VG/EX 4), 85 Luckman (NM), 97 Hutson SP (EX), 98 Feathers SP (NM) and 100 Henry SP (EX). Grades 22% NM to NM/MT, 69% EX to EX/MT (mostly due to centering), 9% VG/EX.
