New York Yankees second baseman Starlin Castro wore this cap on June 19, 2016, during a 7-4 road loss to the Minnesota Twins. Castro, the youngest player to ever lead the National League in hits, went hitless in this outing, but backed up his play with solid glove work. For the season, Castro hit a solid .270, with a career-high 21 home runs and 70 RBI.
This hat is dark gray, with a blue Yankees interlocking “NY” logo on the forehead. A blue and white MLB logo is present on the back of the cap. An “14” sticker is applied to the underside of the brim. Castro has signed the front of this size 7 3/8 hat in silver marker. This hat comes with a COA from JSA (S47046) for the signature, a LOA from Yankee-Steiner Collectibles, and a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 023740), which dates use to the June 19th contest.
