Baltimore Orioles outfielder Nelson Cruz took this baseball for a ride in the bottom of the eighth inning of a June 25, 2014 game against the Chicago White Sox. The Orioles were down 4-0 when Javy Guerra grooved this pitch to Cruz, who led the American League in home runs in 2014 with 40. With three runners on base, Cruz’s grand slam home run immediately evened the score. This game went to extra innings, with Orioles left fielder Steve Pearce scoring the game winning run on a wild pitch.
