The premier catcher of his day, Bresnahan is generally credited with introducing protective shin guards for the catcher and created the first batting helmet prototype. This is Bresnahan’s “action” pose known as “with bat,” and has the Piedmont 350 subjects reverse. Includes moderate, even corner wear and light discoloration in the lower right corner. PSA Graded VG 3.
