Today, the game of baseball is yielding a bumper crop of excellent young shortstops, and Houston Astros superstar Carlos Correa stands out as one of the most talented. The 2015 American League Rookie of the Year, Correa was instrumental in leading the Astros to their first ever World Series title during the 2017 Postseason. Correa experienced his best season as a pro in 2017, making his first career All-Star team and showcasing his rare power for a shortstop (29 home runs in the regular and postseason combined) while consistently putting balls in play for a .315 batting average. The 6’4” native of Puerto Rico is a rangy fielder with a cannon of an arm and the savvy to remain one of baseball’s best players for years to come. 

Offered here are a pair of Nike Diamond Elite batting gloves worn by Correa during the 2015 season. Correa, the 2015 Rookie of the Year in the American League, played in 99 games and hit 22 home runs, with 68 RBI and a .279 batting average. These gloves are red and white, with a white Nike swoosh logo applied to the top of each glove. “Diamond Elite” is applied to the top of each wrist strap in white and red lettering, and a blank tag is sewn on the bottom of each wrist strap. Correa has signed the top of each glove in black marker. These gloves show outstanding wear, and come with a LOA from SGC for the signature (AA03101) and a COA from JT Sports and a signed LOA from Carlos Correa, Sr. for the game use.
