Today, the game of baseball is yielding a bumper crop of excellent young shortstops, and Houston Astros superstar Carlos Correa stands out as one of the most talented. The 2015 American League Rookie of the Year, Correa was instrumental in leading the Astros to their first ever World Series title during the 2017 Postseason. Correa experienced his best season as a pro in 2017, making his first career All-Star team and showcasing his rare power for a shortstop (29 home runs in the regular and postseason combined) while consistently putting balls in play for a .315 batting average. The 6’4” native of Puerto Rico is a rangy fielder with a cannon of an arm and the savvy to remain one of baseball’s best players for years to come. 

Correa wore these white cleats during the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Correa, playing for Puerto Rico, led the team to the finals of the tournament, where they fell to a strong United States team. Correa was named to the all-tournament team at third base, ceding his typical shortstop position to his teammate Francisco Lindor. The offered cleats are primarily white, with three red stripes on each toe. The back of the cleats are covered by a clear plastic shell over a Puerto Rican flag pattern that extends down the midsole. Correa’s number “1” is applied to each heel, as well as in the insole over a blue star. Puerto Rican flags are present on each tongue. His facsimile signature is present on each arch. Correa has signed the outside of each shoe in black marker. These cleats show excellent use, and come with a COA from JT Sports for the game use and a signed LOA from Carlos Correa, Sr. and a LOA from SGC for the signature (AA03105).
