Miguel Cabrera came off his history making Triple Crown season by almost duplicating his numbers in 2013. His .348 won him another league batting crown and 44 home runs and 137 RBI was second best in the American League. When the MVP votes were tallied Cabrera had done what only Ted Williams, Joe Morgan and Albert Pujols had done before - won back-to-back MVP Awards.

To reach the coveted milestone, Cabrera used this Original Maple Bat Co. (SAM) MC1 model bat during the 2013 season. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions, white leather scuffs and numerous cleat imprints present on the barrel. There is moderate coating of pine tar present on the upper handle/lower barrel and “24” is hand written in black marker on the knob, which has a white Maple Leaf sticker affixed. Cabrera’s “24” is hand written in black marker on the barrel end as well. Cabrera signed his name in contrasting gold marker on the black barrel and inscribed “GAME USED 2013” and “A.L. MVP”. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15209), who have graded this game used bat a perfect GU 10. There is also a LOA from SGC (AA03097) for Cabrera’s signature.
