On June 26th, 2013, Miguel Cabrera hit the 343rd home run of his career, taking Los Angeles Angels starter Billy Buckner deep in the bottom of the first inning. Although Cabrera went 2-4, the Tigers fell by a score of 7-4 to the visiting Angels. This base, which was used for the first six innings of the June 26th contest, has been signed by Cabrera in black marker. The 2013 American League MVP added the inscription “Career HR 343” to his signature. This base shows strong evidence of wear, and comes with both a LOA from SGC (AA03114) for his signature and a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 636569).
