Presented here is a signed Gartlan figurine of “The Yankee Clipper” Joe DiMaggio. A member of the National Baseball Halll of Fame, DiMaggio played 13 seasons in the Major Leagues, with time off for military service in WWII, between 1936 and 1951. DiMaggio led the Yankees to nine World Series titles, and was an All-Star in each of his 13 MLB campaigns. The legendary slugger is portrayed here in his road jersey, at the end of his trademark sweet swing. The statue holds a detachable bat. DiMaggio has signed his name on the pedestal of this figurine in black fine-tipped marker. This item comes with a LOA from SGC (AA03115).
