The Tom Barker game cards are extremely popular as they included actual player photos and included most of the great players of the time. An interesting scarcity within this set is the “Fenway Breweries” overprint, which includes promotional red printing on the border of the Frank Baker card. Boston based Fenway Breweries likely purchased a quantity of sets for promotional purposes, and then overprinted the company's logo on the Home Run Baker card. The Baker card is the only card in the set which has the Brewery printing. Wondering why the company did not choose to overprint a Boston player is likely due to the popularity of Baker at the time, as he was in the midst of his home run exploits. This card has a crease in the upper left corner, but is otherwise very clean. SGC Graded 45 VG+ 3.5.
