The ’86 team won the second World Series in franchise history after a stunning 108 win regular season. Led by Dwight Gooden, Darryl Strawberry, and Gary Carter, the Mets knocked off the Red Sox in a thrilling World Series highlighted by Bill Buckner’s unfortunate miscue in Game 6. This seatback has been signed in black marker by the Hall of Famer Carter, as well as Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, Jesse Orosco,George Foster, Rick Anderson, Bruce Berenyi, Ron Darling, Lenny Dykstra, Kevin Elster, Bud Harrelson, Ed Hearn, Keith Hernandez, Davey Johnson, Howard Johnson, Ray Knight, Terry Leach, Barry Lyons, Dave Magadan, Lee Mazzilli, Roger McDowell, Randy Niemann, Rafael Santana, Doug Sisk, Tim Teufel, and Mookie Wilson. This seatback is orange, and has a “Authentic Shea Stadium Seat” placard affixed to the center as well as a silver plaque with the seat number “2”. It comes in a 20 x 24 x 5 ½ inch display. This seatback is a limited edition 40 of 586. It comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (SH 000984) and a Mounted Memories hologram.
