Presented in this lot is a plaque from the Republican National Committee President’s Club honoring former MLB player Rusty Staub. Staub, a 23-year pro, played for five teams and collected 2,761 hits during his illustrious career. This plaque features a photograph of four Republican presidents, Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon, George HW Bush, and Ronald Reagan, above text that reads, “To Mr. Daniel J. Rusty Staub, Thank you so much for your outstanding commitment to the Republican party, our candidates and principles. With best wishes,” and the facsimile signatures of the presidents. This plaque, which measures 13 x 11 inches, comes with a LOA from Rusty Staub.
