Presented here is the 1984 Joe DiMaggio Toast of the Town Award, given to New York Met Rusty Staub by the New York chapter of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America. Staub, who was and still is an active member of the New York community, played 23 seasons in the Major Leagues, including nine years with the New York Mets. This award, presented on January 29th, 1984, measures 13 x 11 inches and comes with a LOA from Staub himself.
