Presented here are eight tickets from the 1977 and 1978 MLB playoffs. The first ticket is for Game 3 of the 1978 American League Championship Series, a 6-5 New York Yankees home victory over the Kansas City Royals. Goose Gossage earned the victory, with a two-run Thurman Munson home run in the bottom of the eighth inning providing the runs the Yankees needed to win. The next six tickets are for Games 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of the 1978 World Series, between the Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Yankees won this series in six, with playoff hero Bucky Dent earning World Series MVP honors for his standout performance. The final ticket is for the 1977 World Series Game 6 pregame party at Yankee Stadium. With an 8-4 victory over the Dodgers in Game 6, the Yankees clinched the 1977 Fall Classic.
