Presented in this lot is a baseball signed by Mickey Mantle and hand-painted by renowned pop artist Charles Fazzino. The Mick signed the sweet spot of this ball in black pen, a metallic silver cloud encircling his signature. A large portrait of Mantle, with his statistics and a background of Yankee Stadium surrounding it, is painted below the sweet spot. This ball is adorned with gleaming rhinestones, and is a beautiful collector’s item from one of the greatest baseball careers of all-time.
