Chicago Cubs’ star first baseman Anthony Rizzo helped lead the Cubs to the playoffs with a solid regular season that included 31 home runs, 101 RBI and a .278 batting average. The 2015 season began a streak of three consecutive seasons in which Rizzo amassed more than 100 RBI for the season.

     This Marucci Rizz 44 model bat was used by Rizzo during the 2015 season and displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. Several ball marks are visible on its barrel and the handle has been taped with a combination red and blue Lizard Skin to enhance the grip. There is a moderate coating of pine tar on the upper handle and there is an impression of a weighted donut. The knob has been stamped with Rizzo’s number “44” along with the length “4.0”, weight “2.0 and the manufacture date “07/21/15” stamps. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats since 2009. The Cubs star has signed the barrel in contrasting bright blue pen and added “2015 Game Used”. Please note that there some flaking in both the signature and inscriptions, but they are still readable.
