San Francisco Giants catcher, and the 2012 National League MVP, Buster Posey wore this uniform for three games during the 2013 MLB season. An All-Star in 2013, Posey finished the season with 15 homers, 72 RBI, and a healthy .294 batting average. Posey, the 2010 National League Rookie of the Year, wore this jersey during road games on September 4th, 13th, and 21st. While he did not play during the September 4th game, he played the entirety of the Giants 4-2 victory against the Dodgers on the 4th and their 6-0 loss to the New York Yankees on the 21st.

     The jersey has “SAN FRANCISCO” sewn across the chest in black, orange, and gold tackle twill. “POSEY” and his number “28” are sewn on the back of the jersey in black, orange, and gold tackle twill beneath a MLB logo patch. A Giants logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve, and a 2012 World Series Champions patch is sewn on the right. The front of the jersey is accented with black piping, and black and orange bands ring the sleeve openings. The underarm areas are made of gray mesh fabric, and heavy piling is evident on the front right tail of the jersey. A Majestic size “48” tag is applied to the front left tail of the jersey. Posey signed the “2” on the back of the jersey in silver marker, adding his number “28” and the inscription “Game Used 2013”.      The pants were worn on September 22nd, when Posey played all nine innings of the Giants 2-1 victory over the New York Yankees. These gray pants have an orange and black stripe running down each leg, and evidence of team repairs on the back of the right leg and below the right knee, where there is also a small tear.
