Babe Ruth did unbelievable things with a baseball bat, from his first home run on May 5th, 1915, to the 714th of his venerable blasts on May 25th, 1935. In the 20 years between these home runs, Babe Ruth brought magic to ballparks across the country with his mighty bat, a tool that seemed to be an extension of his mighty hands. Ruth, the first home run king, reigned supreme over baseball for over two decades as the sport’s preeminent power hitter, a spectacular draw who changed the course of American history with his bat.

This H&B Louisville Slugger George “Babe” Ruth model bat is a tantalizing piece of baseball history. While it was not used by Ruth, his signature alone is enough to turn this into a piece worthy of display in any museum. “George ‘Babe’ Ruth” is etched in the barrel, and the Hillerich and Bradsby logo stands in sumptuous contrast to the deep brown shade of this bat. “35” is engraved in the knob, and “Powerized” is etched next to the H&B logo. Ruth signed the barrel of this bat, over a lightly sanded area, in gorgeous black fountain pen. His signature projects beautifully, standing out crisply from the sanded area and immediately catching the eye of even the most casual viewer. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (B23935).
