Widely considered one of the greatest songwriters in American history Irving Berlin autographed and inscribed this sheet music of his famous piece “God Bless America”. The signature is written in black marker and the inscription reads “Best Wishes”. The sepia tone sheet music states the title of the piece (God Bless America), composer’s name (Irving Berlin), the date of its first performance (Artistic Day 1938), and three keys the song can be performed in. This lot is an excellent addition to the American music lover’s collection and is a great piece of American history and tradition.
