Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw wore this jacket during the Dodgers 2013 postseason run. The Dodgers were the champions of the NL West in 2013, largely due to the incredible pitching performance turned in by the 2013 National League Cy Young Award winner. Kershaw compiled a 16-9 record, with a stunning 1.83 ERA and 232 strikeouts in 236 innings. Kershaw started two games in the NLDS, pitching 13 total innings with a miniscule 0.69 ERA as the Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves in four games. The NLCS did not go the Dodger way, however, and the new-look Bums fell to the St. Louis Cardinals in six games.
This blue Majestic jacket has “Dodgers” sewn across the chest in faux-tackle twill and a MLB patch applied to the back outside collar. Size “XL”, Therma Base, and Majestic flags are sewn on the back inside collar. Kershaw’s number “22” is written in black marker on the Majestic flag. This jacket shows moderate use, with staining present on the chest. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 645365), which authenticates this item as “Team Issued”, a common practice with items worn during the postseason and collected after the season is over.
