     Presented here is a torch used in the run-up to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. The Canadian Olympic team was the most successful of any nation, winning the most gold medals in competition, although the United States outfit won the most total medals. This torch is white and silver, with the logo for the 2010 Olympics, a First Nations sculpture nicknamed “Illanaq” is applied to each side. “With Glowing Hearts / Des Plus Brillants Exploits” is printed on the silver metal. A maple leaf is cut out of the metal as well. This item is a fantastic relic from one of the most successful modern Olympic Games. 100% of the proceeds from this lot will go to the hurricane relief efforts.
