Tupac Shakur shows his softer side in this poem, titled “If U Knew…” A touching ode to an unknown paramour, Shakur penned five stanzas of heartfelt poetry on this 8 ½ x 11 inch piece of paper. “If U Knew…” is printed above the first line, and the poem begins with the couplet “If u knew how much I loved you / It would put fear into your heart”, continuing in this vein for the remainder of the poem. The final stanza reads “2 do all I can 2 prove to u / My burning heart is true / And from this day 2 eternity / I’ll always love u”. Tupac closed the poem by writing “if only u already knew” and signing his name. This poem is written in black ballpoint pen.
