This baseball was used during the Detroit Tigers August 1^st, 2012 game against Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. The Tigers won this game 7-5, with Miguel Cabrera launching a two-run home run to put the Tigers on the path to victory. Cabrera, the 2012 AL MVP and Triple Crown winner, has signed this Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball in blue pen. Cabrera’s signature appears on the panel to the south of Selig’s stamped signature, and below a Fenway Park 100 Years logo. Beneath his signature, Cabrera inscribed “Triple Crown 2012”. This item comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C84554) for the signature, and a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 166820), which dates the use of this ball to the August 1^st game.
