Offered are two tour posters from Madison Square Garden and Tower Theater for the band Temple of the Dog. The Seattle born band conceived by Chris Cornell of Soundgarden as a tribute to the late Andrew Wood, lead singer of the bands Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone. The band included Stone Gossard on rhythm guitar, Jeff Ament on bass, Mike McCready on lead guitar, and Matt Cameron on drums. Originally the band was started off making Grunge rock but as time progressed they became more of an Alternative Rock band. The two tour posters featured in this lot are psychedelically colorful, and measure 12 x 36 inches. The first is of a lone, bald tree in what to looks to be a valley. The second is of a forest edge near the water, between the forest and the water is a gathering of people by a fire. Both of these tour posters have the name of the band starting at the heading of the poster and bottom of the poster, as well as the name of the venue underneath the word “DOG”.
