Hall of Fame linebacker Derrick Thomas wore these Nike cleats during the 1989 season, his rookie year. Thomas, who played his entire 11-season career with the Kansas City Chiefs, recorded 10 sacks in 1989 after being selected with the fourth overall pick of the 1989 NFL Draft. Thomas played in the NFL until 2000, when a tragic car accident ended his career. He was posthumously inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009. These size 12.5 cleats are white, black, and red, with red Nike swoosh logos sewn on each side of the cleats. “NIKE” is printed in black lettering on each heel, with Thomas’ number “58” written above it in black marker. The soles of the cleats are red and black, with “NIKE” applied to the soles in white lettering. These cleats show heavy wear, and come with a LOA from MEARS, who have deemed the cleats authentic.
