Over the last several seasons, Robinson Cano has become the premiere hitter on the New York Yankees. Not bad for a player who was once offered to Texas Rangers in the 2004 deal to bring Alex Rodriguez to the New York Yankees. The Rangers selected Joaquin Arias instead. At the beginning of the next season, the Yankees promoted Cano to the show, and since that promotion Cano hasn’t stopped hitting. This bat was used by Cano during his inaugural season where he hit .297, with 34 doubles, 14 home runs and 62 RBI. The Louisville Slugger M9 model I13 block letter maple bat is 33.75 inches in length and weighs about 30 ½ ounces, measurements which match factory ordered records. This gamer reveals nice moderate game use with cleats and rack marks, pine tar on the upper handle and an area with ball and stitch marks, where the ink on the baseball was “lifted.” Cano’s number “22” is prominently written in black marker on the knob and the cupped barrel. Cano also signed this gamer “Robinson Cano 22 Game Used 2005 Rookie Season.” Cano is one of the most hitters in baseball, and his sweet left handed swing is perfectly suited for Yankee Stadium. He should continue to put up great numbers, possibly leading to a Hall of Fame career. This rookie game used bat for Cano was the beginning of this greatness. Letter of Grading and Authenticity by PSA/DNA.
