Larry Bird had one of the best seasons of his Hall of Fame career in 1985-86, winning his third straight NBA MVP award and leading a Boston Celtics team that many consider among the greatest of all-time. Bird powered the Celts to a 67-15 record, including an obscene 40-1 home mark, en route to yet another Celtics title. The Celts defeated the Houston Rockets in six games in the Finals, with Bird claiming the Finals MVP Award. This white home jersey is in the style of the 1985-86 jersey, and has “CELTICS” and Bird’s iconic number “33” sewn on the chest in green tackle twill. “BIRD” and another “33” are sewn on the back of the jersey, also in green tackle twill.
