Kansas City Royals All-Star first baseman Eric Hosmer wore this batting helmet in 2011, his rookie season in the Majors. Hosmer was a success from day one, crushing 19 home runs, driving in 78 RBI, and hitting for a .293 batting average. Hosmer finished third in the American League Rookie of the Year race, however he would go on to add four Gold Glove awards, a Silver Slugger, and the 2016 All-Star Game MVP Award to his trophy cabinet. In 2015, Hosmer led the Royals to their first World Series title since 1985, driving in 17 runs across the Royals three postseason series.
The offered helmet is blue, with an ear flap over the right ear. A “KC” logo decal is applied to the front of the helmet, with a “35” and a blue and gold MLB logo applied to the back of the helmet. A white sticker with an “R” in a circle is applied to the crown of the helmet. The helmet is a size 7 3/8. Hosmer has signed the brim of the helmet in yellow marker. This helmet shows outstanding use, and comes with a COA from JT Sports for the game use and a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 607932) for the signature.
