This white, Kansas City Royals home jersey was issued to Royals star centerfielder Lorenzo Cain for the 2015 American League Division and Championship series. Cain was instrumental in the Royals postseason push, which ended with a five-game series victory over the New York Mets in the World Series, handing the Royals their first title since 1985. Cain drove in 11 runs during the 2015 playoffs, including four during the World Series, while also stealing six bases in the playoffs. Cain made his first All-Star team in 2015, and finished third in the American League MVP race.
This white, button down home jersey has “Royals” and a paraph sewn across the chest in blue tackle twill. Cain’s number “6” is sewn on the chest and back in blue tackle twill. “CAIN” is sewn across the back shoulders in a similar manner. A gold and blue MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar, and a vinyl 2015 Postseason patch is sewn on the right sleeve. A Majestic size “46” tag has been applied to the front left tail of this jersey. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 031297) and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
