Hall of Fame running back Curtis Martin began his NFL career with the New England Patriots in 1995, playing with them until joining the New York Jets for the 1998 season. Martin rushed for 1,487, 1,152, and 1,160 yards in his three seasons with the Patriots, scoring 14 touchdowns in each of his first two seasons. Martin retired after the 2005 season with 14,101 rushing yards and 100 total touchdowns. The former Taylor Allderdice and University of Pittsburgh star was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012.
Martin wore this silver helmet during his time with the Patriots. The facemask is red, and Patriot logo decals are applied to each side of the helmet. Martin’s number “28” and an NFL logo decal are applied to the back of the helmet. Martin appears to have signed this helmet, however his signature is somewhat faded and therefore authentication is inconclusive. This helmet comes with a LOA from Martin’s fellow Hall of Famer Tim Brown.
