Graded FR 1.5 by PSA. Hall of Famer, in his Rookie Card appearance. A scarcer "High Number" entry, and the condition-sensitive "Last Card" in its set. Although the #407 Mathews card has less notoriety as a condition rarity than the issue’s #1 depiction, Pafko, it’s still a very elusive collectible for anyone assembling a 1952 Topps set. This colorful piece displays natural, generalized wear from handling, and a few superficial wrinkles can be discerned under close scrutiny. Fair condition.
