28 members of this historic Dodger team have signed this official N.L.(Ford Frick) unused (slightly toned) baseball. This is the famous Dodgers team that 'Lost the pennant' to the Giants in the tie-breaking game when Bobby Thompson hit the famous home run off of Ralph Branca (despite winning 97 games). The signatures include Hall of Famers Jackie Robinson, Pee Wee Reese, Roy Campanella, Dick Williams, as well as Gil Hodges, Chuck Dressen, Don Newcome, Carl Furillo, Ralph Branca, Bruce Edwards, Jake Pither, Dan Bankhead, Cal Abrams, Phil Haugstad, Erv Palica, Clyde King, Rocky Bridges, Preacher Roe, Billy Cox, Don Thompson, Cookie Lavagetto, Carl Erskine, Hank Edwards, Ed Miksis, Joe Hatten, Gene Hermanski as well as an additional CH Reese.
