Hall of Fame right fielder Al Kaline wore this Cracker Jack Old Timers Baseball Classic jersey during the 1983 iteration of the game. Kaline, a member of the 3,000 Hit Club, played from 1953 to 1974, and took part in this Old Timers game at the age of 48. This gray pullover jersey has “AMERICAN” screen printed across the chest in red and white text. “KALINE” is screen printed across the back shoulders in red text over a matching gray nameplate. Kaline’s number “6”, which has been retired by the Detroit Tigers, is screen printed on the back of the jersey in red and white. The collar and sleeve openings are accented with red, and a 1983 Cracker Jack Old Timers Baseball Classic logo is screen printed on the right sleeve. A Rawlings size “42” tag is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. Kaline has signed the back of the jersey, which shows light wear, in black marker. This item comes with a PSA/DNA STICKER ONLY (U43166) for the signature and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for game use.
