New York Mets ace pitcher Frank Viola wore this gray road jersey during the 1990 MLB season. Viola notched the second 20-win season of his career in 1990, finishing with a 20-12 record in a National League best 35 starts. Viola, the 1988 American League Cy Young Award winner, made the second All-Star team of his career in 1990 while maintaining a 2.67 ERA for the season.

This pullover road jersey has “NEW YORK” sewn across the chest in blue, orange, and white tackle twill. “VIOLA” and his number “29” are sewn on the back of the jersey in blue, orange, and white tackle twill. The sleeves and sides of the jersey are accented with a blue, orange, and white band. Rawlings size “48”, “2 Inch Extra Length”, and “90 1 29 T” tags are sewn on the front inside tail of the jersey. This jersey shows light to moderate wear, and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
