Presented here is a game-ready Kimmo Timonen jersey from the 2012 NHL All-Star Game in Ottawa. This jersey was prepared for Timonen in case he was drafted to Daniel Alfredsson’s All-Star team, however he was selected by Zdeno Chara, the captain of the second team, with his fifth selection. Team Chara, wearing blue in the All-Star Game, won the star-studded contest by a score of 12-9.
This white sweater features a special NHL logo patch sewn on the chest beneath Timonen’s red, white, and gray tackle twill number “44”. Additional “44”s are sewn on the back and each sleeve in red, white, and gray tackle twill. “TIMONEN” is sewn across the back shoulders in red tackle twill over an ovoid matching white nameplate. A Flyers patch is sewn on the left sleeve, and a 2012 NHL All-Star Game patch is sewn on the right sleeve. A Reebok patch is sewn on the back outside collar. Six stars are screen-printed on the bottom of the jersey, as well as an NHLPA logo patch. One additional star is located on the opening of each sleeve. The jersey is accented with red panels under the arms, and red accents going down the sleeves. A size “56” flag is sewn on the back inside collar. This item comes with a LOA from the NHL and a patch sewn in the jersey by the MeiGray Group (I08396), who have authenticated this jersey as game-ready.
