Former Philadelphia Flyers center Daniel Briere wore this size 52 road white Reebok air-knit jersey during the tail end of the 2008-09 season and in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Briere was limited to 29 regular season games, but still scored 11 goals and had 15 assists. Briere added a goal and three assists during the Flyers opening round six-game loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. This jersey features the Flyers “P” logo sewn on the center chest in black, orange and white. The sleeves have an orange stripe that runs halfway down from the neck with a combination of white and black to cap off the sleeves. Briere’s number “48” is sewn on the back in orange and black tackle twill and “BRIERE” is sewn on in black tackle twill on a matching white air-knit name plate.”48” is sewn on in white and black tackle twill on the orange portion of the sleeves and the Reebok logo patch is sewn on the upper back neck. The collar is black and forms a rounded v-neck with an orange section above the V that has the NHL logo patch. Briere signed his name in black marker on the “4” on the back of the jersey and inscribed “48”. This jersey displays outstanding use with numerous stains. The fight strap is attached to the inside back of the jersey. This jersey has been authenticated by the hockey game experts at The MeiGray Group and their patch is sewn on the inside back left tail and it reads “NHL GAME-WORN JERSEY 2008-2009 SEASON F04320” and a corresponding LOA from MeiGray accompanies this item. There is a STICKER ONLY from JSA (W162235) for Briere’s signature.
