Presented here is a collection of items used by Muhammad Ali on his world travels. The first item is an International Certificates of Vaccination booklet, compiled by the World Health Organization and distributed by the US Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. Ali’s name is written on the front cover in blue pen, its large, capital letters announcing the presence of the world’s greatest athlete to some lucky customs agent. The booklet folds open, and the date of Ali’s most recent vaccination, on October 3rd, 1973, is also written in blue pen, as well as the name of the doctor who administered the life-saving shot.

     Also included in this collection is a note card with contact information for Khalilah Ali, Muhammad’s first wife and the mother of four of his children. Additionally, a leather Lufthansa billfold is included in this lot. These items come with a LOA from JSA (Z58645).
