During that time Gary Sheffield hit his 500thhome run on April 17th, touching this home plate to finish his milestone at-bat. Sheffield became the 25th player in Major League to reach that milestone and Sheffield has signed this home plate in black marker, inscribing “The home plate from my 500 HR”. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 188434) and a Gary Sheffield hologram.
